Opstad Elementary School (OES) was built in 1988 and is named after Edwin R Opstad, the first superintendent of our district. The school has 25 classrooms plus four modular classrooms for specialty programs. There is a spacious library, computer lab, music lab, art room, gymnasium, multipurpose room with stage, and extra-large interior hallways that are used for supplemental projects and tutoring. Through the district’s technology initiative, classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology tools for 21st Century learning which includes: interactive white boards, web-based tools, and sets of mobile devices. Opstad Elementary offers students in preschool through 5th grade a safe and supportive environment for learning.
