Excerpts from "History of Education by Hermia Opstad, 1956 - It was at this time that the decision was made to operate a high school at Snoqualmie using the facilities of the Snoqualmie High School plus 4 rooms from the Snoqualmie Elementary School. This made it necessary to provide other facilities for these 4 grades. The 5th and 6th grades were sent to Snoqualmie Falls and the 7th and 8th grades from Snoqualmie and Snoqualmie Falls schools were sent to North Bend. This enabled the district to reduce the required number of classes in these grades and made for more economical operations.
