Prevention and Support Programs

Policies, programs, and training opportunities to prevent bullying and harassment problems are used at every school and grade level in the Snoqualmie Valley School District.

Snoqualmie Valley School District policies:

The District has two policies in place regarding the prohibition of harassment, intimidation and bullying, and sexual harassment:

  • In School Board Policy 3207, the District recognizes that it has a responsibility to provide an educational environment that is free from all types of discrimination and harassment, including, but not limited to, harassment, bullying and intimidation.  Procedure 3207P outlines the reporting/complaint process.

  • School Board Policy 6590 addresses the District’s commitment to a positive and productive education and work environment that is free from sexual harassment; Procedure 6590P defines the reporting/complaint process.

What is being done in schools to prevent bullying and harassment?

Every year, all Snoqualmie Valley schools provide students with lessons and programs regarding the prevention of bullying and harassment.  Specific curricula and support programs vary by grade level (for age-appropriateness) and by school.
