	2006-2007 Goals: The Chief Kanim goals for the upcoming school year will be to focus on plans for improvement within our learning environment.  Our Learning Improvement Team has focused on several goal areas.  In the area of reading, our goal will be to have 82% of all 7th grade students meeting or exceeding the standard on the WASL reading test within the next two years.  In the area of math, our goal will be to have 70% of all 7th grade students meeting or exceeding standard on the WASL math test within the next two years.  In the area of writing, our goal is to have 85% of all 7th grade students meeting or exceeding the standard on the WASL writing test within the next two years.  The Chief Kanim staff is committed to making the best learning experience for all students in the 2006-2007 school year.
