| The purpose of the Two Rivers Learning Improvement Team is to develop plans for the improvement of student learning focusing on alternative approaches to that goal and keeping in mind our main tenets of choice, goal-setting, and personal responsibility. Our team operates in an atmosphere of trust and open communication with respect for diversity, a focus on change with a purpose, and stresses innovation and creativity. Our Learning Improvement Plan is to continue to develop and refine an alternative approach to evaluation using authentic assessment and portfolios stressing individual learning and accountability. We will additionally focus on the human relation and social needs of Two Rivers students beyond the classroom. Finally we will continue our ambitious public relations campaign to let the community know more about Two Rivers School. | |||||||||||||||
