Seeking Peer Models for Developmental Preschool Program

The Snoqualmie Valley School District is now accepting applications for preschool peer models for its Developmental Preschool Program, for the 2017-18 school year.

Peer models are preschool age students (at least 3 years old by August 31 and no older than 5 years) who help model developmentally-appropriate social, self help, communication, motor and pre-academic skills in the developmental/special education preschool setting. Families of preschool peer models live within the Snoqualmie Valley School District boundaries. The Preschool Program is based at Snoqualmie Elementary School. There are two half-day sessions, a.m. and p.m., that run Mondays through Thursdays. (There are no full-day sessions for peer models.) Session placement is determined by age.

To apply or learn more, visit the District website at www.svsd410.org, and select Preschool Information in the Quick Links section on the home page. The application deadline has been extended to Wednesday, March 22.

Find information about the Developmental Preschool, registration forms and deadlines, as well as frequently asked questions. Tuition is $255 per month for preschool peers. If you have questions, please refer to the website or contact Marci Nicholson at 425-831-8088.
