Washington State 2018 Healthy Youth Survey
Our district is participating in the Washington State 2018 Healthy Youth Survey during fall 2018.
The Healthy Youth Survey includes questions related to physical activity and diet, unintentional and intentional injury, substance use, risk and protective factors, access to school-based services, and sexual behaviors, abuse and orienttion. Survey results are used by schools, communities and state agencies to plan programs to support our youth and reduce their risks.
Participation in the survey is voluntary and the students' answers are anonymous.
Please read the Parent and Student Notification Letter for more information about the Healthy Youth Survey.

Twin Falls Middle School (TFMS) serves approximately 860 students in grades 6-8. It opened in 2008 and is the newest school in the Snoqualmie Valley School District. Nestled at the base of forested mountains, students and staff enjoy scenic views from their classrooms and often share their grounds with a meandering herd of Northwest elk. The building’s modern design features include natural lighting, warm earth tone colors, and energy efficiencies. The school supports a collaborative teaching model to align instruction at 6/7/8 grade levels and in common content areas. This ensures consistent practices and common language for all students. Twin Falls Middle School offers a safe, supportive learning environment that benefits from active parental involvement. The school’s inclusive environment is based on academic rigor, collaboration, and the belief that all students will learn as they are engaged in core classes and exploratory classes.
