Upcoming TEST of SVSD Emergency Communication System
-
In preparation for inclement weather and other emergency situations, the Snoqualmie Valley School District will be conducting two different tests of our communication system. The district uses ParentSquare to send mass notifications via phone calls, email, text messages, and the mobile app to families and staff.
The district will do an all-staff test call on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 5 p.m. An all-family test will be conducted on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 5 p.m.
The test notification will consist of:
-
Voice message
-
Email (in a family’s preferred home language)
-
Text message
-
Mobile App notification
Our system uses family contact information provided in Skyward Family Access. As a reminder, ParentSquare works best if each parent has their own account, similar to Skyward Family Access. If you have accidentally merged your accounts, please contact svsdinfo@svsd410.org to have your account unmerged.
If you did not receive a test message or discover some other issue, please contact your child’s school or update your information in Skyward Family Access.
Families can update their information by doing the following:-
Log into Skyward Family Access
-
Select “Student Info” to verify your student’s contact information
-
Select “Request Changes for STUDENT NAME” on the right side of the page, under district links
-
This will offer options for changes you can make to your student’s profile, including emergency contacts
-
Questions? Please contact your child’s school
Staff can update their information by doing the following:-
Log into Skyward
-
Select Employee Access, Employee Information, Personal Information
-
To make edits, click on the Request Changes button (top center)
-
Reminder: The numbers that show in the Phone 1 field will be designated to receive ParentSquare emergency calls or text, unless changes are made directly into ParentSquare
-
Click save and wait for HR approval
-
Questions? Please contact Michelle Daly at the District Office

*Staff members who have students enrolled in our district will receive test notifications both evenings.
