- 2022 Spring State Assessments
Individual Scores from Spring 2022 State Assessments Now Available
-
Your student's learning and growth are important to us, and we want to keep you informed about tools we can use together to support your student's success.
In spring 2022, Washington public school students in grades 3-8 and 10 took the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) English language arts (ELA) and math tests. Students in grades 5, 8 and 11 took the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS). These assessment results fulfill state and federal requirements to understand how districts and the state are doing in meeting all students’ learning needs. They also help improve instruction.
State exams provide a snapshot of a student’s performance on the given assessment. Ongoing classroom information such as daily assignments and tests provide a more complete and accurate picture of your student’s skills and knowledge. The state assessment results can help all of us work together to pursue additional support or accelerated opportunities that may benefit your student’s learning.
