Kiwanis & Key Clubs Sponsor Annual Giving Tree Campaign
-
Mount Si High School and middle school Key Clubs are partnering once again with Kiwanis on their Giving Tree program. This vital community resource helps ensure all Snoqualmie Valley families who need financial support can take advantage of donated gifts to help them through the holidays. Last year they helped over 500 children!
Here’s how you can participate:
- Families in need: If your family could use a little help this year, please sign up at the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank, or through your school counselors, for a time to visit the Casino Christmas Store. Food bank hours: Monday (11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.); Tuesday (3 - 6:15 p.m.); and Wednesday (9:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.) Registration started Nov. 1; sign up for appointments to “shop” the Giving Tree store on Dec. 13-14.
- Families wanting to donate: If you can donate toys or new coats this year, please select a tag or two from a Giving Tree placed in various locations throughout the Valley. All SVSD school offices have donation boxes to receive unwrapped gifts, and there’s a Giving Tree at the District Office, where you can drop off unwrapped gifts with your tag(s). The deadline for school collections is Friday, December 9.
Please join us in our efforts to ensure all children have a happy holiday season this year! It takes a community.
