FLASH (High School Sexual Health)

Comprehensive sexual health education is mandated by law about human development and reproduction that takes place over time and is age-appropriate and inclusive of all students. Comprehensive Sexual Health Education (CSHE) is mandated by RCW 28A.300.475 and the AIDS Omnibus Act. Our district adopted portions of the King County FLASH curriculum to meet these requirements.
As always, you may opt your child or children out of sexual health education instruction by completing the district opt-out form and returning it to your students school's main office. The curriculum is detailed below.
