SVSF Educator of the Year Award

We've known for years how lucky we are to have Mindy Mohney at SMS teaching math and science (and serving as advisor for our Key Club and Homework Club). Now everyone in the Snoqualmie Valley knows it, too!

 

Ms. Mohney was the recipient of the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation's Middle School Educator of the Year Award for 2022-2023. SVSF board members surprised Ms. Mohney in her classroom to bestow the honor in front of her students. Educators are nominated by parents, students, fellow staff members, and community members for the award, which celebrates SVSD employees who inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn, have earned respect, lead by example, and play an active role in creating a positive school environment.

 

Ms. Mohney will be one of the guests of honor at the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation’s “Small Hands to Big Plans” Spring Fundraising luncheon on Wednesday, April 5, at the MSHS Performing Arts Center.
