CVES Walk-a-Thon

  • Assistant Principal Mitchell with a CVES student

What a day for our Cascade View students and staff at the Wild Wild West Walk-A-Thon assembly to celebrate the phenomenal job that our Cubs did with the CVES PTSA's annual fundraiser!

For surpassing the schoolwide goal and raising more than $37,000, every Cub will receive a squishy. Our top fundraising classes (Ms. Louie and Mr. Harper) will receive a donut party courtesy of the North Bend Bakery, and the top fundraising student in each grade will enjoy a Frankie's Pizza party. The students in Ms. Kinghorn and Ms. Duncan/Ms. Lenderman's classes did the most laps overall, earning a Swirl frozen yogurt party. Altogether our Cubs walked and ran a total of 1,792 miles, which is the distance between CVES and Kansas City, MO!

The real fun happened when Cubbie drew the names of six students chosen to deliver a pie to the face of six of our amazing teachers! Thanks to Ms. Boyle, Ms. Louie, Ms. VandeKamp, Mr. Harper, Ms. Forman, and Ms. Kern for being such good sports! For the grand finale, Assistant Principal Jennifer Mitchell took one for the team as well! We appreciate our CVES staff for showing such school spirit and thank all the families who made our Walk-A-Thon a success!
