• Snoqualmie Valley Public Schools are now providing a variety of new online "E-Meeting" options to help inform the community and solicit feedback. Anyone with computer Internet access can attend, view, and listen to an E-Meeting by selecting the E-Meeting icon from district’s home webpage.

Three categories of E-Meetings are available: (Click on the links below for archived presentations or information on upcoming live E-Meetings.)

    1. Podcasts -- Audio recordings are posted after every school board meeting and can be downloaded to an MP3 player such as an iPod or played directly from our website on your PC. You can also subscribe to the RSS feed of the podcasts to automatically receive new podcasts once they are posted using software such as iTunes.

    2. Webcasts -- Audio recordings paired with accompanying screen shots provide viewers complete online presentations of select Board initiatives and community issues.

    3. “Live” E-Meetings -- E-Meeting opportunities provide “live” online presentations that may feature sound, documents and other on-screen materials, plus an interactive opportunity to submit questions and receive real-time feedback using online webinar software.
We hope school district constituents will find it convenient and beneficial to attend virtual public meetings or presentations, over the web. You will be able to keep involved without having to hire a babysitter, brave the infamous Valley weather, or even put on a pair of shoes. We’re optimistic that new social media technologies, such as these online E-Meeting options, will be used in constructive ways to increase civic awareness, participation and discussion. As we fine tune this practice, we appreciate our community’s support and understanding that we are continuing to explore options that respond to the needs of families in our district, in cost-effective ways that can be managed within our limited resources.
