• Leadership is a course designed to encourage students to be successful leaders and community members. The course focuses on decision making, goal setting, and the planning of school and community events. In this course, students will be members of the Two Rivers Youth Task Force, complete a project with a focus on prevention; will coordinate a Holiday Toy Drive and be involved in many community service events. Students in this course will plan and lead the all school meetings, help with our Community Garden Project, mentor new students as well as coordinate the Two Rivers Yearbook.

    Prerequesite: Enrollment in leadership is based on Advisor Recommendation. Advisors will recommend a student who meets the following requirements:

    A student who is:         -Self directed

    -Works cooperatively in a group setting

    -Has a desire to make a positive impact on Two Rivers and the    

     community

    -Has shown to be successful at meeting Positive Behavior

     Intervention   Strategies (PBIS) goals at Two Rivers

                                        -Will work with the community in a positive manner

                                        -Shows the ability to positively mentor other students

                                        -Demonstrates the ability to use technology appropriately
