TLC Confidential Shredding

    $6.00 per standard paper box
    (Effective November 1, 2014)
Our Confidential Shredding Program Teaches and Provides:
Job Skills, Service to our Community, Team Work,
    Responsibility, Planning, and Goal Setting

The students at TLC provide shredding services for $6 a box to the community based out of the vocational classroom. Students are involved in the entire process from receiving, billing, storing, prepping, shredding, and disposing while maintaining confidentiality.

Earnings allow the students to go on outings that they plan and organize with support in accessing leisure activities. They learn the value of working toward a goal and about our community.

As a group, they decide where they would like to go to celebrate the year end and work towards making their goal a reality. Previous outings have been to Seattle to Ride the Ducks, to the Ballard Locks, on many hikes in the area, and to Alki Beach and other local parks.
