Behavioral Health ResourcesIdentifying children’s physical needs—like nutritious food, safe housing, and plenty of sleep and exercise—comes far more easily to parents. But recognizing our children’s mental and emotional needs may not be as obvious. The same is true for problems like substance abuse.
Supporting healthy choices and fostering sound mental health allows our children to develop emotionally, socially and intellectually. It also helps them learn and refine important skills essential for growing up healthy.
