Degrees and Certifications:
L. Kim Wagner
I have taught at North Bend Elementary School for 22 years. The first 18 of those years I taught 5th Grade. Making the switch to second grade was pretty major for me, but I love it! Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher. I received my degree from WWU, and then got my Masters Degree through City University, where I focused on technology. I have taught adults, special education, 4th grade, 5th grade and now 2nd grade. I am the mother of 4 children and the grandmother of two of the most precious girls ever! I have lived in North Bend for 18 years with my husband, our oldest daughter, two miniature donkeys, two dogs, a cat and a guinea pig (when she isn't in my classroom). All of my children graduated from Mt. Si, and my youngest son went on to join the Army. My teaching philosophy is: everyone can learn and learning should be fun.
