Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Tiffani Moore. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you.
I love teaching and have been working with children in some capacity since I was 11. I can't imagine doing anything else! I feel so lucky to work at Fall City, as I know how supportive, caring, and encouraging this community of teachers and parents are. I look forward to spending the school year with your child and watching them grow.
I am a Washington native and grew up in Bellevue. I attended Washington State University and then finished my bachelor’s degree at Eastern Washington University. I graduated from Eastern with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I went on to complete my Master's Degree at Antioch University in Elementary Education. I have taught kindergarten and 2nd grade. This is my first year teaching 1st grade. This marks my 8th year in teaching. Fall City Elementary is special to me because I was fortunate to complete my student here in a 1st grade classroom. My ultimate goal was always to continue my career in teaching at FCES.
In my spare time I enjoy spending weekends at Lake Kachess. It is my favorite place to be! In addition, I love to play golf, cook, garden, and travel. I am a HUGE Seahawks fan too! I enjoy spending time with my 6 year old Maltese named Daisy. I consider Fall City Elementary my second home and my "other" family. I am so happy to work in such an amazing and supportive environment with the people I look up to each day.
I see second grade as a time for children to explore who they are, gain confidence, grow as independent thinkers, and build on prior knowledge. I love watching students use what they already know to make new learning meaningful. I consider myself a learning facilitator for your child, by helping them to make connections between what they learn in the classroom and what they already know about life. Your child is about to embark on a wonderful year of learning in a supportive, enthusiastic, and positive environment.
I look forward to meeting you and beginning our second grade journey together!
