Substitute Employees
-
Substitutes are an essential part of our district team and key to the success of our students. Substituting offers flexibility to choose where and when you'd like to work, and the ability to experience working throughout the district in a variety of positions. Even if you desire a permanent assignment, we strongly encourage you to consider becoming a substitute as well. Many substitute employees are hired for permanent positions as school staff, principals, and supervisors get to know them and their skills on a first-hand basis.
How to Apply
If you are interested in becoming a Certificated Substitute (WA State Teaching Certificate or Emergency Substitute Certificate required) or a Classified Substitute (office personnel, paraeducators, food services, etc.), please submit a completed application. Selected candidates will be contacted by the Substitute Coordinator to notify them of the next steps.
