Join as we travel to Japan. This is a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) trip to Japan.
Trip will include Tokyo: visit Science Museum, tour Rinkai Disaster Prevention Park, Mori Digital Art Museum, see the Gian Gundam Robot, Tokyo Disney Sea, participate in a cooking class excursion to Tsukuba where we will take a guided tour of JAXA, Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency, visit AIST Science Square. Travel to Yamanashi Prefecture, see Mt. Fuji, visit Maglev Exhibition Center, stop at the Narusawa Ice Caves as we return to Tokyo where we will participate in an Anime drawing class, visit Akihabara Electric Town and have dinner at a Robot Restaurant.
Join Mrs. Truitt and Ms. Holmes as we travel to Japan on this 14-day custom tour. We began planning this tour while traveling in Japan in 2019. This trip has taken a long time for us to be able to go and enjoy the beautiful country of Japan. We will visit two of the 12 standing castles that have never been destroyed. Participating in traditional Japanese activities such as a Traditional Tea Ceremony and a Samurai activity. And activities that are more current baseball game and Disney Sea.
On this trip we will fly into Osaka, tour Osaka Castle and Dontonbori Street. From there we will head to Okayama with a stop at Himeji Castle, visit Kurashiki Village, then to Hiroshima where we will visit the Peace Park, Hiroshima Castle, take a day trip out to Miyajima Island. We will take the Bullet Train to Kyoto, hike to a Monkey Park, visit a Bamboo Forest, participate in a Samurai activity. We will travel to the Japanese Alps to the towns of Shirakawa-go and Takayama. Then to Nagoya where we will visit the Nagoya Castle, take in a Japanese baseball game, on up to Hakone for a short boat cruise and a trip up the cable to the top of the mountain. The trip will end in Tokyo, where we will visit the Mori Digital Art Museum, participate in a Japanese Tea Ceremony, then go out to Tokyo Disney Sea.
