Eureka Math Curriculum

The elementary schools in the Snoqualmie Valley School District adopted and implemented the Eureka Math curriculum in the 2019-2020 school year for all K-5 classrooms. Eureka Math is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and takes a conceptual approach to teaching and learning mathematics. Classroom Resources

Students have access to two consumable workbooks - Learn and Succeed. The Learn workbook is used in class and includes all of the paper materials students need to engage in Eureka Math lessons. The Succeed workbook is designed for extra practice/homework and aligns directly with each lesson taught in class. One helpful component of this workbook for families is the ‘Homework Helper’ that comes with each practice page. The ‘Homework Helper’ provides step-by-step explanations of how to work through problems found on each page. These pages can be helpful for families as they support students from home. Families have access to the ‘Homework Helpers’ in the Succeed workbooks, as well as digitally. Please reach out to your child’s teacher for information if you’re interested in accessing them online.

Grade-Specific Family Resources

  • Parent Roadmaps are available, which provide a general outline of what students will learn in each grade level.
  • Parent Tip Sheets are also available for each grade level, which provide specific information on what students are learning throughout each module. They also provide ideas for how families may incorporate the learning at home.

Please use the tabs to the left to access these resources for your child(ren)'s grade level(s).
