Flash Sexual Health - High School
Comprehensive sexual health education is mandated by law about human development and reproduction that takes place over time and is age-appropriate and inclusive of all students. Comprehensive Sexual Health Education (CSHE) is mandated by RCW 28A.300.475 and the AIDS Omnibus Act. Our district adopted portions of the King County FLASH curriculum to meet these requirements.
As always, families have the option to opt their child(ren) out of sexual health education instruction. Schools will notify families at least 30 days in advance of the scheduled instruction and provide details on how to opt out.The curriculum is detailed below.
