The CRRC will consist of approximately 20 community members, parents, and stakeholders, along with two non-voting School Board observers, one representative from the teachers' union, one representative from the classified union, and non-voting District administrative support. Committee members will be appointed by the Superintendent with the goal of ensuring broad representation from Snoqualmie, North Bend, and Fall City. The committee will meet monthly in the evenings.

Applications are due by August 7. After the application period closes, applicants will be notified of their selection and will receive additional information about committee expectations and the first meeting, which is scheduled for late August.

The CRRC meets monthly in the evenings, typically for about two hours, at District campuses. The Committee will select a chair and vice-chair from among its voting members to help guide its work in partnership with the District's consultant and the Superintendent's office. As an advisory committee, the CRRC’s role is to study the issues thoroughly and bring forward a well-supported recommendation for the Superintendent and School Board to consider.

The Committee is expected to complete its work and deliver a final recommendation to the Board on or before June 1, 2027.

The Superintendent has charged the CRRC with developing a recommendation that:

• Identifies and prioritizes the District's most urgent capital needs
• Addresses safety considerations, potentially including a third-party safety audit
• Accounts for current and projected student population and program needs
• Explores and works to reduce inequities among District facilities
• Includes both near-term and long-term planning considerations
• Favors pragmatic solutions built for longevity and lower long-term maintenance costs
• Reviews the District's outstanding debt capacity, with the goal of minimizing impact to taxpayers
• Reflects broad, deliberate input from staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders

When feasible, the Committee will also explore community partnerships, outside funding opportunities, third-party expertise, lower-cost alternatives, and sustainable practices that reduce long-term operating costs.
