As a special honor this year, our own Mount Si Jazz 1 band was invited to be a featured performer on the first night of the convention, performing Friday, Nov. 22 at 9 p.m., at the DoubleTree Hotel in SeaTac.

The conference concludes with all four honor bands performing in concerts on Monday, Nov. 25, incorporating what they’ve learned from the professionals.
