Celebrating SVSD Paraeducators

Happy National Paraprofessional Appreciation Day!  Today, April 2, we celebrate the many outstanding SVSD paraeducators who make a difference in our schools every day.  

Paraeducators, also known as teacher’s aides, para-pros, and classroom assistants, provide essential support to students and teachers alike. They help classrooms run smoothly, offer targeted support to students who need extra help, monitor playground safety and lunchrooms, and play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment.  Without their dedication and vital support to our school system, our students would miss out on their precious care that makes all the difference.
