Mount Si High School Veterinary Science Team Wins State, Headed to Nationals
The Mount Si High School Veterinary Science Team has earned top honors in Washington State, winning the FFA Veterinary Science Career Development Event (CDE) and securing their spot at the National FFA Convention this fall.
The state competition brought together 49 teams and 205 contestants from all over Washington. Mount Si’s team stood out in a big way—scoring 60 points higher than the second-place team. It’s a true testament to the knowledge, preparation, and teamwork these students have developed through their Veterinary Science program.
In addition to the team’s overall success, three Mount Si students placed in the Top 10 individually:
2nd Place - Ellie Wilder
3rd Place - Aubrey Walker
5th Place - Makenna Boulton-Wallace
The Veterinary Science CDE challenges students to demonstrate their understanding of animal care, clinical procedures, and problem-solving in real-world scenarios. Mount Si’s performance reflects the strength of its agricultural science and FFA programs, and the dedication of its student participants and advisors.
The Snoqualmie Valley School District congratulates these outstanding students for their hard work and impressive achievement. We look forward to cheering them on as they represent Washington State on the national stage this fall.
