The Mount Si High School Drama Department is gearing up to present Julia Caesar, a bold, gender-swapped adaptation of Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, at the MSHS Performing Arts Center from October 24-26. In this exciting twist on a classic, the town is led by the influential and charismatic Julia Caesar, whose rising power sparks fear among her male counterparts. Concerned that her leadership threatens the traditional ways of the town, a group of senators, led by Cassius, conspires to bring her down.

As the plot thickens, the play explores deep themes of loyalty, betrayal, and the complexities of power, with the conspirators facing moral dilemmas as they struggle with the consequences of their actions.
