Summary
Mount Si High School Drama is proud to present Once Upon a Mattress, a whimsical and witty musical comedy that turns the classic fairy tale “The Princess and the Pea” on its head. Set in a medieval kingdom ruled by the overbearing Queen Aggravain, the story follows the spirited Princess Winnifred the Woebegone, who arrives from the swamps to win the hand of Prince Dauntless. To do so, she must pass the Queen’s nearly impossible sensitivity test. Packed with clever humor, catchy songs, and colorful characters, this production promises fun for all ages.
There will also be MSHS Faculty and Staff performers each night including cameos by Principal Hay; Band/Orchestra Director, Robbie Rutherford; English teacher, Elizabeth Whittington; and Criminal Justice teacher, Liz Steiner.
