ParentSquare
As a reminder, Snoqualmie Valley School District uses ParentSquare as its primary communication platform. ParentSquare consolidates and streamlines many of our communication services, including translating messages, emergency/closure notifications, bus delay notices, newsletters, student account balance reminders, attendance, low meal balance and teacher communications. Families of active students will automatically receive emails from the district and their student’s school, based on the email provided to Family Access/Skyward related to their student. Learn more about ParentSquare.
SUGGESTION: Download the ParentSquare App. This allows you to access all messages sent regarding your student or school at any time. Parents with more than one child in our schools can access information for all their students in one handy location.
Emergency Notifications
Our district uses ParentSquare to inform guardians and staff if there is a school closure, late start, or school emergency. Messages may be sent via email notifications or emergency text messages to each contact's information, which families provide to the district’s Skyward student database.
Skyward Family Access
This online tool allows parents and guardians to manage and monitor their students’ records and progress. This includes checking grades, missing assignments, attendance, immunization records, emergency contacts, and tracking food purchases. Schools provide each family with a unique parent login/password to ensure the confidentiality of their student’s information.
PeachJar
Every Tuesday afternoon, parents/guardians will automatically receive an email update from PeachJar showcasing newly approved electronic flyers about different events and opportunities for Snoqualmie Valley students. Our schools and community partners use this service to share their events with families rather than sending home lots of printed flyers. From fun PTSA events and youth camps to recreational family activities and upcoming community events, there’s something for everyone. So be sure to check your inbox every Tuesday afternoon for the latest, greatest new flyers, promoting exciting possibilities for your student!
