Event Details
Date: Thursday, June 4, 2026
Time: 6 - 8 p.m.
Location: MSHS South Commons
Elementary (K–5): How to participate
We want you to start thinking about the Art Show now so you can save special pieces your student creates at school this year.
-
The Art Show highlights work created during the school day in SVSD art programs. Outside submissions are not included.
-
Submissions may be turned in by students or parents/guardians. Teachers may also encourage you to submit if they notice a standout piece made at school.
-
Each artwork must include a completed submission form. Forms must be filled out completely and correctly to be considered. (Coming Soon)
-
More information and step-by-step instructions will be sent before the submission window opens in the spring.
-
Our goal is to include all submissions. If a school receives more pieces than we can display at the show, additional artwork will be featured at the school in May for the school community to enjoy.
Tip: set aside any school-made art your student is especially proud of. It makes spring submissions quick and painless.
Secondary (6–12): No action needed
For middle and high school, families do not need to submit artwork.
-
Art teachers will select student pieces created during class to represent their programs in the districtwide show.
-
Selections will be curated to reflect a range of courses, media, and student voices.
-
Students whose work is selected will receive details from their art teacher.
More information about display plans and event details is coming soon.
