ELC Mascot Survey

Thank you to everyone who participated in our initial mascot and branding survey.  A committee of staff, families, and community members recently reviewed the survey results and discussed the values and characteristics that should guide the Early Learning Center's identity. Several themes consistently emerged.

The committee agreed that the Early Learning Center should reflect:

  • Welcoming

  • Caring and nurturing

  • Inclusive

  • Playful

  • Safe

  • Creative

The committee also identified several important themes to guide mascot development:

  • Nature and animals

  • The Snoqualmie Valley

  • Trees and Mount Si

  • Learning, growth, and exploration

  • A non-competitive, non-aggressive mascot appropriate for young learners

After reviewing all survey responses and committee feedback, three mascot concepts emerged as the strongest options:

  • Butterfly
  • Orcas
  • Owls

We are seeking one final round of feedback before the committee develops a recommendation and begins exploring logo, color, and mascot designs. Thank you for sharing your perspective and helping shape the identity of the Early Learning Center.
