MSHS Students Selected for WIB Clinic Honor Bands

Seventeen outstanding Mount Si High School musicians have been selected to perform in the Western International Band Clinic (WIBC) Honor Bands, taking place Nov. 21-24 at the DoubleTree in Seatac, Wash.

These students earned their spots through a competitive audition process that drew more than one thousand students from across the country. They will represent Mount Si in one of four honor bands and spend the weekend rehearsing and performing with acclaimed musicians and educators.

During the clinic, students will have the opportunity to work with internationally recognized guest artists Patrick Sheridan and Harry Watters, composer Tyler S. Grant, and guest conductors Cynthia Johnston Turner, Dr. Elizabeth Peterson, Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser, Robert Ponto, and Diane Koutsulis.
