Air Quality Monitoring and Response

The Snoqualmie Valley School District works directly with the Washington Department of Health to ensure the safety of our students in response to poor air quality. We are constantly monitoring the outside air quality as provided by the Department of Ecology State of Washington. The widget below is updated in real time by the Department of Ecology. Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups

SVSD Response To Poor Air Quality

The district monitors the Air Quality Index daily. Based on the guidance and recommendations from the Washington Department of Health, our district begins responding to the air quality when it reaches 51 or over. The district makes accommodations for Recess, P.E., athletic practices, and competitions. For a detailed breakdown of the district's response for each category, please see the DOH document below.
