MFA For Students

This form is part of the annual RSVP process in Skyward

Snoqualmie Valley School District uses multifactor authentication (MFA) to help protect student accounts and personal information. MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring more than one method to verify identity, such as a password plus a text message or phone call.

When do MFA prompts occur?

MFA prompts will generally occur only when your student signs in from a non‑district device while off the district Network.

📱 Phone Number Usage & Syncing

Account Security (MFA)

Parent/guardian phone numbers are used by default. If provided, your student's own mobile phone number may be added as an additional MFA option.

StudentSquare Communication (High School)

If provided, the student's phone number may be synced into StudentSquare, the district’s communication platform for high school-aged students. This allows students to receive school communications through text messages.

Privacy & Security Assurances

  • Student phone numbers are not accessible to staff.
  • Numbers will only be used for account security and district communication purposes in accordance with district policies.
