Transportation

We are dedicated to providing safe, effective and efficient service, and most importantly, always being mindful of the safety and well-being of the students.

Safety is the top priority of our Transportation Team. Our professional school bus drivers meet all state and federal certification requirements as a result of extensive driver training, including First Aid/CPR. Our buses are exceptionally maintained, equipped with fire extinguishers, first aid kits, body fluid clean up kits, and tire chains, plus some have sanders. Drivers practice emergency protocols, conduct safety drills with students, and are experienced driving in all types of weather. In addition, each bus is outfitted with a two-way radio for speedy communication, video surveillance cameras to ensure student safety, and Smart Tag technology tools which help staff (and parents) track students on their way to/from school.

To ensure everyone's safety, respectful bus behavior is emphasized and expected. Parent support is also needed to ensure your student always carries their Smart Tag and arrives 5-minutes before their designated pick-up time.

Please know that your child will not be let off at an unassigned bus stop unless specific instructions from the parent are given in writing. Our guiding rule is "Children will be where parents expect them to be."
