Dear Snoqualmie Valley Elementary Families,
In February, our community generously supported our students by passing an Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) levy. A couple of focus areas for the Snoqualmie Valley School District are increasing equity and consistency throughout our schools. Beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, your child's elementary school will provide all of the basic and necessary school supplies needed for your child’s education. Resources from the approved levy support this initiative.
This past winter, a group of elementary teachers representing each school and grade level (K-5) worked to determine a consistent and comprehensive list of needed school supplies. These materials are being ordered to ensure that every student has the required materials needed to continue a quality education. Ordering in bulk enables us to keep the price of these materials as low as possible.
We understand some families may enjoy school supply shopping and may choose to purchase additional items for their child. However, a formal list of school supplies will not be posted since your schools are covering the items necessary. We hope this enables every student to have what they need on the first day of school.
