Important: The new 2022-23 Free and Reduced Applications are now available. You can complete an application in Family Access, download one from the district website (available in English or Spanish), or request a hard copy at any school or our district office. Applications are required each year. Also, applications may be completed at anytime throughout the year, if a family's income eligibility changes mid-year.
The USDA waiver that allowed schools to offer meals at no cost to all students is no longer available to school districts. Therefore, we will be charging for meals again starting this fall. With one exception -- all K-12 students who qualify for either reduced-rate or free meals are eligible for free breakfast and lunch meals.Due to the rising cost of labor and food, SVSD meal costs will increase a bit this year for students and staff purchasing meals.Online Payment System: Please know that your payment is not immediate. The payment system will update payments three times a day: 6 A.M., 10 A.M. (prior to lunch), and midnight. Students can still eat, and once the money is posted, it will deduct any meals purchased. If you have problems, please call us at 425.831.8030 or 425.831.8000, with the following information: child's name, date of payment, the amount paid, and confirmation number.
