Change of Address

If you’ve moved, updating your address helps ensure your student is assigned to the correct school and services. Proof of residency is required.

Updating Your Address

What you’ll need

To update your address with Snoqualmie Valley School District, you will need to provide proof of residency. Your address determines your child’s designated school attendance area.

Accepted documents typically include:

  • A property tax statement
  • A utility bill
  • A lease or rental agreement

Non-standard lease agreements: In some cases, an Affidavit of Residency may also be required.

School assignment and transfers

If your address change means you are moving to a new attendance area within Snoqualmie Valley School District, students are generally required to attend the school designated for their geographic residence.

If you would like your child to attend a different school within the district after a move, an in-district transfer request must be submitted during the Open Enrollment period each year.
