SVSD Distance Learning 2.0 Webinar is Now Posted Online

If you missed the webinar on August 20th that addressed many questions we've received regarding Snoqualmie Valley School District’s Distance Learning 2.0 Plan, click here to watch the video now: (The video is approximately 2 hours and 16 minutes in length.)

And, be sure to explore the SVSD Distance Learning Guidebook on the website for more details. There you’ll find new school schedules, remote learning support/resources and new technology tools that will play a key role in at-home learning this fall. Our district has worked hard throughout the summer to improve our remote instructional model, based on best practice research and feedback from students and parents last spring. Specifically, we are incorporating more “live” time with teachers in the schedules, planning for more small group interactions and opportunities to connect with classmates, establishing consistent use of the Schoology learning management system, offering a single sign-on platform to access online resources, supporting all students and teachers with devices and internet access, and providing timely professional development for our amazing teaching staff on remote teaching strategies.

As we prepare to educate students as safely as possible during this COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited to meet and re-connect with your students soon!
