The Snoqualmie Valley School District has adopted a new online learning management system called Schoology. Schoology provides teachers course management and calendar tools, mobile learning, and support for student and parent communication. Schoology also makes it easier for parents to stay involved with their students’ education.
Many teachers at SMS are using Schoology. The goal is for all Snoqualmie Valley educators to fully adopt Schoology by fall of 2020.
Teachers will notify their classes – students and parents – when they plan to begin using Schoology. Teachers will provide families with the access code for their student’s unique account. The main office at SMS has a copy of access codes too.
Login by clicking the Schoology icon under the Students page on the SVSD website or using our URL – lms.svsd410.org. We have a custom URL so going to the general Schoology site won’t work.
Student login information is the same as your student Google Drive login and password. If you forgot your Google Drive password, any of your teachers can reset it for you.
New students – you can get your login/email address from any of your teachers (or the main office) and your password is your 6 digit ID number (you will be forced to change it when you first login).
Parents must sign-up for an account.
In order to sign-up, you need the access code that is attached to your student.
You can have multiple students under your account, but each student has a unique code you will need to add to the account.
Any of your student’s teachers (or the main office) can provide you with the parent access code
Once you have enrolled, you do not need to re-enroll each semester/year! You will be attached to your student for their entire enrollment in SVSD. So if you signed up last year, there is no need to re-enroll.
