Safety Tipline Helps Students “See Something, Say Something”

SafeSchools Alert Instructions

Dear Families,

Safety is one of our district’s top priorities. To help safeguard our school community, we work with students to reinforce the importance of “See Something, Say Something.”

One of the tools our district uses is SafeSchools Alert, a tip reporting service that allows students, staff, parents and community members to submit safety concerns to our administration five different ways:

1. App: Download the free app “SafeSchools Alert”

2. Phone: 360.587.4726

3. Text: Text your tip to 360.587.4726

4. Email:

5. Web:

Through the Safety Alert Tipline – which is posted as a Quick Link on our school website and district homepage -- you and your student can easily report tips on bullying, harassment, drugs, vandalism, threats of violence, or any other safety issue of concern. For emergencies, call 911.

When you submit a tip, be sure to use our district identification code: 1047 and reference the name of our school in the message, so we can quickly identify and address the issue.

Every tip that SafeSchools Alert receives about our district is immediately logged in the system and our administration is notified so that they can investigate and take appropriate action. Tips may also be submitted anonymously if preferred. Please keep in mind, that your efforts to share as many details as possible will help us be able to effectively investigate and quickly address concerns.

While Mount Si High School has been using this resource for several years, the district has extended this service to all Snoqualmie Valley schools in grades 6-12. Together, with your partnership, we will continue our focus on keeping Snoqualmie Valley schools safe places to learn and work! Thanks in advance for your support.

Best regards,

Jeff D'Ambrosio, Principal
