Remote Learning Opportunites

Schoology will now be where all Mount Si High School teachers will communicate and post activities.

At this time, all remote learning opportunities are optional for students. Activities are aligned to key standards and support the curriculum for each content area, however, they are supplementary and not intended to replace instruction.  Students are encouraged to stay engaged with their teachers and classmates through Schoology and may also reach out to teachers if they are having trouble accessing or understanding posted materials.  Email will be the best way to contact teachers directly, since they are all working remotely and checking email regularly throughout the week.

Parents/Guardians, we strongly encourage you to also login to your child’s account so you can both support and encourage your child’s learning during the closure.

This is something new for a lot of our staff. We are working hard to learn new technologies, come to collective agreements, and invest our collective expertise to bring students meaningful remote learning experiences. We know each week we will grow, improve, and expand on where we start.

Thank you again for your patience.  As always, please reach out at belcherjh@svsd410.org if I can provide any support during this time.

Stay well, Wildcats!
