Last day to submit a photo for the 2020-2021 yearbook is Monday, March 1

Selfie Portrait is the free “remote picture day” service for any MSHS student in grades 9-12 who did not have a school picture taken on Feb. 3 or 10, to ensure all Mount Si students will be included in the 2020-2021 yearbook.

It’s also the way that someone can have a “retake” of their school picture—for the yearbook ONLY. Unfortunately, we can’t do anything about retakes for a print portrait package ordered through Dorian; customers will have to contact Dorian directly for their options for that. But if your school picture is less than ideal, students can submit a Selfie Portrait for yearbook use.

To use Selfie Portrait, students will go to our Selfie Portrait site where they will see a Wildcat logo and be asked to log in with their student ID. Once they punch that in, it will step them through the process and they can take and upload their image.  Please note photo guidelines below:

  • Full color

  • Facing front

  • Face fully visible

  • Chest and above - no visible hands

  • No hats, props, animals or other people

  • Solid color background

  • No filters - portrait mode is fine

Even though the service is called Selfie Portrait, it will work MUCH better if students have another person take the photo. 😊

Selfie Portraits will be reviewed for image quality and for meeting our guidelines. If a photo is rejected, students will be contacted by the yearbook staff  via Schoology Messagingand asked to retake and resubmit.

All Selfie Portraits are due by March 1.
