Rapid Antigen Testing Available for Students & Staff at School
If your child is identified as a close contact of a person who tests positive for COVID, Snoqualmie Valley schools are able to administer a Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test free of charge to your child at school. This will be limited to identified close contacts at school or school-sponsored events, according to recommended Dept. of Health timelines.
Parents/guardians: Your permission is needed in order to administer a test if your child is identified as a close contact, following contact tracing. With this permission, please know we will also notify a family when their child receives a Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test at school, and provide a separate communication should your child test positive.
Please complete the steps below, if you would like to grant permission for your child to receive a Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test at school, if they are identified as a potential close contact:
- Log in to Skyward Family Access, click on Online Forms.
- Select the Consent + HIPAA form (Fill this form out if you have not yet completed a Consent Form.)
- OR - Select the HIPAA form only (if you’ve already completed the Consent Form earlier).
We cannot administer a Rapid Antigen Test for your student until we have both your CONSENT and HIPAA approval on file.
How does this help? Having your permission on file…
- Provides convenience, saving your family a trip to a health provider for a COVID test;
- Enables our staff to respond quickly, helping prevent the spread of illness at school;
- And, hopefully, helps keep your student at school.
