To plan for the 2021-22 school year, our school district has developed an Academic & Student Well-being Recovery Plan. This plan was approved by the School Board at their June 2 regular meeting and is now available online. It will serve as a working document and continue to evolve in the weeks ahead, as we prepare for safely serving students in person, five days a week in the fall.
All school districts in Washington State were required to create and submit a recovery plan in June, following this year of school closures and remote learning due to the pandemic. The goal of the plan is to identify students and student groups who may need additional academic and well-being supports, define how those supports will be provided, and plan for recovery and acceleration of student learning and well-being over the summer, into the fall, and beyond.
