SVSD Ranked 6th in the State out of 205 School Districts

Each year, SchoolDigger.com ranks school districts based on student performance on state assessments.  Upon updating its 2018 rankings this week, the website lists Snoqualmie Valley School District as 6th in Washington State -- out of 205 school districts reviewed (or top 3%).

Mount Si High School is ranked in the top 10% of public high schools in Washington -- placing 33rd out of 315 high schools reviewed.

The website explains that it has ranked districts and schools based on 2017-18 student scores on state assessments.  For Washington State schools, they looked at the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) for English Language Arts, SBA for Math and Washington Comprehensive Assessment for Science (WCAS) scores. Scores from these exams, which were administered last spring, were recently released by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
