In honor of Veterans Day, Snoqualmie Valley schools have special activities planned to honor those who have served our country in the armed forces. Below is the schedule of assemblies planned this week.

Wednesday, November 7 –
Mount Si High School. Breakfast for guests at 8 a.m., followed by assembly at 9:15 a.m. See details.
Chief Kanim Middle School. Assembly at 1:30 p.m. (CKMS students are also collecting expired U.S. flags to retire appropriately as part of the assembly. Flags can be dropped off at the school office prior to November 7.) See details.
Thursday, November 8 –
Twin Falls Middle School. Refreshments in the library 7:20-7:50 a.m., followed by assembly at 8 a.m. See details.
Friday, November 9 –
Cascade View Elementary. Refreshments at 9 a.m., followed by assembly at 9:20 a.m.
Fall City Elementary. Guests arrive at 9:15 a.m., assembly begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by a reception.
North Bend Elementary. Assembly at 9:20 a.m.
Opstad Elementary. Assembly at 9:30 a.m.
Snoqualmie Elementary. Reception at 8:30 a.m., followed by an assembly at 9:30 a.m.
Timber Ridge Elementary. Doors open at 9:15 a.m. for seating. Assembly at 9:30 a.m.
(Also, Two Rivers School is planning a students-only assembly to honor veterans.)
All Snoqualmie Valley schools and the District Office will be closed on Monday, November 12, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
