Schools Foundation Awards Grants & Launches Clickathon
The Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation has announced a wide range of classroom innovation grants it will fund, totaling over $20,000. The chart below features the full list of grants the Foundation was able to award to Snoqualmie Valley educators this 2018-19 school year.
To continue this long-standing tradition of support for innovative learning and classroom resources, the Foundation has launched itsFall 2018 “All In for Kids” Clickathon fundraising campaign this week. The campaign will run from November 19 through December 10. Proceeds from the Clickathon will directly benefit Snoqualmie Valley students, classrooms and schools. Every donation, regardless of the amount, is appreciated. For perspective, if every family donated $5 per student, the Foundation would double its goal for next year’s classroom grant funding.
In addition to funding classroom grants, the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation supports district-wide initiatives that benefit all SVSD schools. Last June, the Foundation presented an unprecedented donation of $121,000, which is funding the following initiatives for all students this school year:
Elementary School Music Barred Instrument Program (K-5)
AVID College and Career Readiness program (6-12)
Elementary Reading/Math Interventions and Differentiation (K-5)
Middle School Math Support (6-8)
