Mount Si High School’s cheer teams brought home two championship trophies last weekend in the 2019 Washington Interscholastic Athletic Associations (WIAA) State Cheer Competition.
On Friday, February 2, the Mount Si Red team earned first place in the Super Varsity Non-Tumbling category of the state competition. Then, the Mount Si Game Day team placed first in Coed Game Day state competition on Saturday, February 3.
“The kids were AMAZING this weekend. The parents and coaches are very proud of them,” said Cheer Coach Jessii Stevens. Congratulations Wildcats!
